The Word and Life Network was established in 2003 by Pastor Ronnie Barnard to extend the reach of the local church beyond traditional boundaries, inspired by Matthew 5:14 ( … a city on a mountain that cannot be hidden). It began as a fellowship of 15 churches and has grown to include a network of churches, operating across South Africa and other parts of Africa. The Word and Life local church (AFM of SA) in Sunward Park, Boksburg, serves as the network’s anchor. Following the passing of Pastor Ronnie Barnard in 2022, his son, Pastor Renaldo Barnard, now leads the network.

This Network exists to support and equip church leaders to fulfill their Godly call. We achieve this by regional leadership gatherings, national conferences and continuous pastoral development.  Come and experience a brotherhood built on Godly values.
